For over ten years now, I have been going up to Drummond Island in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for vacation with my husband, family and friends. On one of my first trips up to see the cottage I noticed a small, hand-painted sign posted on one of the trees that read "island beauty" and even now after ten years I continue to find more of that beauty on every trip.
