I have been looking for a pair of boots for about 3 years. Every year the season comes and goes and I am without a pair of boots again. You see, I'm petite so my legs are rather short but, I have a more athletic body type so my calves are slightly larger than most petite women. When you're short the boots always hit the wrong place on your leg, too high is usually the case so you can't bend your knee. The other difficulty is that since my calves are larger I can't find a boot to hit the right spot on my leg while still fitting comfortable. I've tried several boots that have extended calf widths too, but again the length of the boot isn't right.
At any rate, the height for me is perfect on this boot and the calf width also perfect. The quality is top-notch as well. The style is very cute, and they were even mistaken for a very expensive brand of boots by a stranger. You'll receive many compliments in wearing them and they are very comfortable. I like them so much I'm considering looking into a black pair if they have that color available. In general though, I really like the Born brand. I have several pairs of shoes by them and I'm happy I have a new pair of boots that fit perfectly too.

Wearing my UGG boot/skirt/tight combo today a la Choz! I may need to get some boots like that though they are super cute.
ReplyDeleteI feel like I "must" have the black pair as well. We'll see... but they are calling to me. :o)
